Motivational interviewing (MI) is one technique I use weekly when speaking with my clients. A few of you me to do a video on MI so I invite a MI pro and fellow dietitian Katie. colleague of mine to teach you that very thing. For those of you who do not know motivational interviewing is counseling technique that helps people resolve doubtful and mixed feelings in an attempt to help the client find their internal motivation to elicit behavior change. If you are new to the field MI is on skill you will need under your belt. Remember to like, comment, and subscribe and let me know in the comments section below what aspect of MI you like the most.
